Worcestershire County Council has signed a £20m contract to bring superfast broadband (with speeds of 24Mbps or greater) to 90% of Worcestershire homes and businesses by the end of spring 2014.
Worcestershire County Council is contributing up to £8.5 million, with an additional £3.35 million coming from the Government’s Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) funds. BT is also contributing £8.9 million.
