Lincolnshire County Council has signed a contract with BT to provide fibre-based broadband so that at least 88% of premises will have access to superfast broadband by April 2016. At least 94% of premises should have access to fibre broadband by April 2016. The project will utilise £48 million of public and private funding, with £18.8 million coming from BT and £14.3 million from the BDUK fund. The first connections delivered by the project are expected in January 2014.
